Simple Love

All I Need Is Love

These little hearts will be a backdrop for a rainbow party.

Simple, colorful and beautiful.
The best part is they can be used for years to come for many birthdays or Valentine parties.

My little girl is obsessed with Rainbow Dash and anything rainbows. This project is part of the decorations we are going to have for her upcoming B-day party.

I made 16 of these little colorful wands for all of her friends to play with at the party.

Very easy and fun to do.

Stool Cool

Stool...a very cool one indeed:

The beginning of these stools was not so cool. Take a look:

At some point, people found out, I love old furniture and started dropping off stuff. At one time there was more furniture in my basement than in my actual living space; and I even have dear friends who would call to let me know there's a desk or a chair by the side of the road. I consider this being lucky.
So, that's how I got these two, friend of mine didn't want them anymore, but I did.

There's this chair now

And it was like this, on the side of the road, alone.

The chair was given to me from a friend of mine. I knew it can be a lot happier place to sit on than what it was. So here it goes the transformation of this one brown and ordinary chair.

Happy Green Bookshelf Tutorial

I bought this bookshelf two years ago for $8. It sat in the "Store For Old Furniture"(the basement as my hubby calls it), looking like this:

In my head it was done and beautiful from the moment I saw it. Most of my projects are played, replayed and finished in my head many times and long before I grab the sander and the paintbrush.
