Jar Pin Up Cushion

Since I've started posting about my crazy sleepless crafting sewing nights, I've inspired people around me to  buy a sewing machine and try their luck in making something . Makes me smile.

I started sewing because I had to fix my pants, I'm 5ft 2in tall(or should I say short) so I learned how to sew on my mom's sewing machine , reading the manual.

Valentine Sweet Tooth Wreath

I made one...

and I love it!!!

Now, I had to put this one way up high because my 3yr old doesn't understand why would I waste so many candies. Neither do I.

This wreath is definitely for inside. The sweet corn is way to soft and fragile to be put outside.

Mod Podge Horseshoes Crafty Joy

Have you heard about Mod Podge?
It's this glue like stuff you can put on fabric or paper that dries clear making a protective, durable coat(when used on top of the paper or fabric) and it's super easy and fun to work with.
Here is what I made using Mod Podge:

This project is part of many projects for a Western Cowgirl B-day party I plan on this coming March.
My little girl is turning three and she is in love with horses and ponies. So I came up with the idea to decorate horseshoes for the party. And they turned out beautiful:

I can't and should not complain, I have a stash of ideas in my brainy-bank and all the nights in the world. And a good glass of wine. So here's what I made on a night like this, just because I don't have anything else to do, right?

The Idea

I usually get my ideas from creations around me, on line, in a magazine, in a book, from an  imaginative kids play or just plan and simple as some creative existing form, if you can follow me what I'm saying. This idea was just recreating one of my fellow creative people bloggers idea and making yes Lima Beans Wreath for Christmas .
