Table for Tea

There's a story of a playhouse
I haven't told you yet about,
There will be day
I sure will like.
For now,
Here's a table for that playhouse
Table for Tea.

This table/chairs set is somewhat 30+ years old, enjoyed by two generations of little girls and lots and lots of tea parties. It has some respect built into it, like a wise old lady  that is.
Here it is at the beginning, old and worn out:

A neighbor gave it to us when we had our first little girl and told me a story about how he enjoyed lots of tea parties on this little set with his now all grown up little girl.
It was perfect size for it. Here it is today in the playhouse:

Process and products used for the transformation:

I gave the table and chairs a good cleaning, sanding down and priming.
After that it was just a matter of taking the time to spray paint the top white and the rest green.

I lightly distressed the chairs and table legs and finished/sealed the set with water based poly

After everything was dry it was time to bring it in the playhouse, get some flowers from the garden and get the tea party started.

It's very pretty and very happy set, enjoyed daily by another generation of little girls.
Bottom line, it's all about the memories, really.

With love and lots of giggles,
enjoy a cup of tea my friends,
Love,
Roza
